HOW CAN THERAPY HELP?
Therapy can help with a wide range of issues.
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, trained to work with adults. I have experience helping people with a wide range of mental health difficulties, both in the NHS and privately.
Some of my clients struggle with feelings of depression or anxiety, some have had traumatic or very difficult life experiences, and some are finding a recent change or loss hard to cope with. Some people come to therapy because they are finding things overwhelming, for others there is a feeling of numbness, and a wish to connect more with themselves and others.
Whether or not you have experience of therapy or know what you are looking for, I can help you think about what is happening and how you might find your way through it.

Individual Therapy
I offer psychotherapy to individual adults, of any age and background. Whether you’ve had therapy before or are unsure what sort of help you need, I can help you think about what might work best for you.

Online Therapy
Many people find coming to in-person sessions a comfortable way to meet their therapist, but for others this may not be best. I can offer online sessions via a secure video conferencing platform if appropriate.

Update in the work of Scope of Practice and Education (ScoPEd)
The Partnership of Counselling and Psychotherapy Bodies updates its ‘framework’, which outlines the core training, practice and competency requirements for counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults. The partnership works to influence and improve the legislative and policy framework around the practice of talking therapy in the UK.

Extremely helpful…given me basic confidence that I can generate trust with other people.

Without this safe space to talk the pressure inside me would have been incredibly damaging. The therapy has kept me and my relationship safe…which has allowed me to try and find my way through a complex situation.

Special thanks to Cat who has made such a difference to my life.
